How RAVI Works
How the Rights and Voice Initiave Works
The Steering Committee

The overall oversight responsibility of the initiative lies with the Steering Committee (SC).  A Grants sub-committee (GsC) of the SC is responsible for the large grant awards and the supervision of the entire grants award portfolio of RAVI. Membership of the SC (as identified and invited by the Consortium Members) comprises nine individuals with wide range of experience in governance, civil society work, academic work and legal issues; they participate in their personal capacity, NOT AS REPRESENTATIVES OF ORGANIZATIONS.

The Management Agency

RAVI is managed by a consortium of four partner organizations - Action Aid International Ghana (AAIG), Center for Democratic Development (CDD), Participatory Development Associates (PDA) and  FRR (theIDLgroup). In managerial terms, the Management Agency (MA) is an independent agency with representation of each consortium member. Management Consortium (MC) representation on the MA is as follows:

  1. Adwoa Kwateng-Kluvitse - ActionAid Ghana (AAIG)
  2. Celia Marshall - Participatory Development Associates (PDA)
  3. Renee Kantelberg - FRR
  4. Peter Owusu-Donkor - Center for Democratic Development (CDD)
The Project Coordinator of RAVI is an ex-officio member of the MA.
